Lahaina has a small but lively commercial waterfront with a variety of high and low-end tourist shops, restaurants, and historical museums.
There is a busy marina area where the cruise ship tenders drop off passengers and small tour boats ply their trade for sailing and whale watching.
Across the street from the marina is a nice shady park with huge banyon trees.
Lahaina is worth the time for a easy walk along the waterfront.
